In the Zaporizhzhia direction, there have been no assaults by Russian troops in the last three days, which is unusual for the invaders. This was reported by the spokesman of the Operational Group of Troops "Tavria" Dmytro Lykhovyi during the telethon.

"The situation in "Tavria" is characterized by a decrease in the intensity of hostilities. In the Zaporizhzhia region, there have been no assaults by Russians in the last three days," Lykhovyi noted.

According to Lykhovyi, this should be noted, as the area is significant, and it is obvious that "the Russians have not disappeared from there," but for the last three days and today there has been no significant activity.

The spokesman emphasized that Ukrainian military will continue to monitor the situation, as such behavior of Russians is "atypical for the recent long period."

"Some activity remains in the Prydniprovske direction, where the enemy is trying to push our units out of the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro. However, only yesterday there was one enemy assault on our units' positions in the area of the village of Krynky," Lykhovyi added.

According to the military, the enemy assaults were unsuccessful, and there were no general losses for the UAF. The spokesman also noted that he did not link these events to the Kursk operation, as the Russians lack resources for effective offensive actions on several directions simultaneously.

"There are certain grounds to say that the number of artillery shelling on our positions is also decreasing. Considering this, it cannot be said that a quiet period has begun, but, for example, in the past 24 hours, there were 280 Russian shellings of our positions using about 1450 munitions, which is less than a month ago," he said.

However, according to Lykhovyi, enemy aviation remains active. The Russians carried out six airstrikes, as well as launched six guided aerial bombs and 60 unguided aerial rockets both in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Ukrainian troops continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy.

"Yesterday, the Russian army suffered losses of 69 people. These are irreversible and sanitary losses combined. In addition, the losses include 25 units of weapons and military equipment, including one armored fighting vehicle, one radiodirection-finding meteorological complex RPMK-1 "Smile", four artillery systems, including one S-60 anti-aircraft missile system, 10 vehicles, five reconnaissance UAVs, three boats, and one jet ski," the spokesman said.

Recall that the Russian troops trying to hold back the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region receive fewer resources than those directly fighting on the territory of Ukraine.

As reported, Russian troops shelled a children's cafe in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, three children were injured, one of them in serious condition.

It should be noted that Ukraine controls an area of 1263 square kilometers and 93 settlements in the Kursk region.
