Six Enemy Drone Launch Sites Destroyed by Ukrainian Forces: Where Russian Troops Were Hiding.
Destruction of Enemy Drones and Infrastructure
According to Espreso.tv: On June 12, 2023, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported the elimination of six launch points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used by the enemy to attack Ukrainian military positions. The destroyed locations included facilities near:
- a town café
- a children's goods store
- a library
- a destroyed house in a private residential area
Ukrainian defense forces identified these targets through analysis of enemy activities, after which precision strikes were carried out using fixed-wing attack drones. Additionally, in the Azov region, Ukrainian forces struck the seaport of Temryuk and a petrochemical terminal in Taman. On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to destroy Russian fuel tankers. Drones also attacked an oil pumping station in the Volgograd region.
Escalation of Ukrainian Military Operations
These actions highlight an intensification of Ukrainian military efforts to neutralize threats from the enemy, particularly through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. The destruction of infrastructure linked to enemy military operations could significantly hinder their ability to conduct combat. Moreover, strikes on civilian objects repurposed for military use underscore the complexity of modern warfare, where civilian and military zones often overlap.
