Now, after playing her entire career in Europe, Ana Maria has joined the USL Super League team Brooklyn FC.

The club, based in New York City, is entering its second season in the USL Super League, which is considered the top tier of women's soccer in the US, alongside the NWSL.

The club announced that both Ana Maria and her sister Kiki have signed with them. Kiki, 24, previously played for FC Rapperswil-Jona in the Swiss Women's Super League, while Ana Maria was with Damainese in the Portuguese top flight league.

Ana Maria expressed her excitement about joining Brooklyn FC, mentioning the energy she feels surrounding the club and city. Playing alongside her sister, she sees this as a special opportunity to make an impact on the field.

Kiki also shared her enthusiasm about playing with her sister in Brooklyn, calling it a dream come true. She is looking forward to fighting for the team and contributing to their second season.

Both Ana Maria and Kiki have represented Croatia at the international level and have achieved success at the club level as well.

Aside from their soccer careers, Ana Maria boasts an impressive three million followers on Instagram, where she shares updates about her personal life and football journey. Kiki, with a smaller following of around 18,900, also engages with her fans on the platform.

Moreover, the sisters have ventured into business together, launching a Swiss vegan protein water brand called RELOADZ.
