November 16: Ukraine celebrates Radio, Television and Communication Workers Day.
Today, November 16, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Radio, Television and Communication Workers. This holiday was established by the Presidential Decree in 1994 to underline the important role of these professions in the development of society and ensuring the information resilience of our country, reports 'Hlavkom'.
The date November 16 is not accidental: on this day in 1924, the first radio broadcast of Ukrainian radio took place in Kharkiv, which was then the capital of the Ukrainian SSR.
This holiday is dedicated to all who provide citizens with quality information and stable communication. Among them are journalists, editors, operators, publishers, and specialists in telecommunications and the Internet. Their work is extremely important for maintaining the information security of our country.

May your favorite radio bring you positivity and smiles every day; I wish you to catch the frequencies of happiness and luck in life.
Happy professional holiday to all who choose to work in the field of broadcasting, television, or communication. May the signal always reach, and radio listeners joyfully perceive the news and music. We wish everyone to be happy in their work every day.
With radio and TV, the beloved voiceAgain resonates in the home.Always be cheerfulAnd healthy, and friendly.Share all the newsLive long and happily!
The blue screen -Like a window to the world. You are behind it all,But among people,They know you well.Closer than kinTo many of us,Always at the door,Always in good Time.
From the loudspeaker, the beloved voiceOnce again resonates in the home.Always be cheerfulAnd healthy, and friendly.Share all the newsLive long and happily.
Today is also celebrated as International Tolerance Day. This date was established by the UN General Assembly in 1996 in honor of the adoption of the Declaration of Principles of Tolerance by UNESCO member states on November 16, 1995. The holiday aims to recognize the equality of all people, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or skin color.
Thus, November 16, in addition to Radio, Television and Communication Workers Day, also calls to think about the importance of tolerance and respect for diversity among all people on the planet. These two holidays, although different in their essence, emphasize the importance of communication and understanding between people.
