UNHCR starts payments of 10.8 thousand UAH: who among Ukrainians can receive assistance.
Ukrainians now have the opportunity to apply for cash assistance from the UNHCR Ukraine in the amount of 10.8 thousand UAH. Registration will begin on Monday, August 11, in Kryvyi Rih or Dnipro in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Representatives of UNHCR Ukraine announced this on Telegram.
Who can receive financial assistance
Residents of Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro can apply for financial assistance. To participate in the program, one must be in a vulnerable category of citizens and have the necessary documents.
The assistance is intended for those who were forced to leave their homes due to the aggression of the Russian Federation. Each family member can receive 10.8 thousand UAH (3.6 thousand UAH per month).
Priority for assistance is given to citizens without relocation requirements and vulnerabilities:
- single-parent families (only father/mother) with minor children or elderly persons;
- households only with elderly people (aged over 55);
- families with an elderly person who raises children under 18;
- persons with disabilities or serious illnesses.
How to receive assistance
From August 11, citizens can apply for financial assistance at the address: 5 Volodymyr Byzov Street. You can also contact the office in Dnipro, at 9 Polovitska Street, starting Monday. To receive assistance, one must have an identification code, a passport, a document on IDP status for the past six months, and medical certificates.
Thus, Ukrainians who have experienced the aggression of the Russian Federation and found themselves in difficult life circumstances have the opportunity to receive financial support from UNHCR Ukraine.
