Preparations for winter: since the beginning of the year, DTEK has manufactured 760 thousand spare parts for miners.
Since the beginning of the year, the machine builders of DTEK have manufactured 760 thousand spare parts and 10 new combines to support Ukrainian coal mining and to be ready for the winter period. This is stated in the DTEK press release.
DTEK machine-building enterprises continue to work intensively to meet the needs of Ukrainian mines in equipment, and therefore – to help them extract coal for the operation of thermal power plants.
For this purpose, in the nine months of this year, machine builders have manufactured and repaired 982 units of mining equipment. Among the main products – 10 new tunneling and cleaning combines. The plant workers also provided miners with 758 thousand spare parts and components.
«For many months, energy workers have been continuing restoration efforts 24/7. Miners extract coal and maintain sufficient fuel reserves at thermal power plants. And machine builders assist them in this by supplying the necessary equipment. Because the key for everyone is to restore capacities as soon as possible and enhance the reliability of Ukrainian thermal power plants during the winter», – said DTEK Energy CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
Let us remind you that in the first nine months of 2024, DTEK miners, under the leadership of Rinat Akhmetov, implemented 16 new coal faces. Another 9 are planned to be implemented by the end of the year. The company's investments in Ukrainian coal mining are expected to reach approximately 7.7 billion UAH by the end of the year.
