In Zaporizhzhia, the acceptance of applications for financial assistance has started: who can receive 10.8 thousand UAH.

The organization UNHCR Ukraine is accepting applications for registration for payments in another Ukrainian city in August 2025. Payments are again available for vulnerable categories of citizens in Zaporizhzhia.

More about the assistance program

As part of the program of the global intergovernmental organization UNHCR Ukraine, dedicated to protecting refugees and internally displaced persons, it is possible to receive 10.8 thousand UAH for each family member.

Applications can be submitted to data collection points if the family:

• The income does not exceed the amount of 5.4 thousand UAH per person.
• Belongs to the following categories and meets one of the vulnerability criteria:

• internally displaced persons (with displacement within the previous six months within Ukraine), who have not participated in the cash assistance program earlier (last three months);
• citizens who returned home after forced relocation within Ukraine or abroad due to military actions, starting from February 24, 2022, and did not receive similar financial assistance (previous three months).

Among the vulnerability criteria:

• the family has only a father or mother with one or more minor children (up to 18 years) or elderly persons (from 55 years);
• the family is headed by one lonely or several lonely elderly persons (from 55 years) / elderly persons with one child / several minor children up to (up to 18 years);
• the family has one or several persons with special needs (disability, chronic diseases).

How to receive financial assistance in Zaporizhzhia

If a person meets the program requirements, they can receive consultation at the office located at: Zaporizhzhia, Independence Ukraine St., 72 (Monday-Friday from 9:00 to 15:00).

It is also possible to inquire by phone: 063 182 68 96 (every Wednesday from 9:00 to 15:00).

To enroll in the financial assistance program, you can fill out an online application (available every Monday at 10:00).

Earlier, we wrote that UNHCR was accepting applications for assistance payments of 10.8 thousand UAH in the Sumy region. Registration will be available in three settlements.

We also reported that in August, citizens could participate in the project 'REMARKET' for business development. Within this framework, up to 5.6 thousand dollars will be provided for the implementation of plans.

UNHCR Ukraine has expanded the financial assistance program for vulnerable categories of citizens in Zaporizhzhia. This will provide an opportunity for the most needy families to receive assistance in a timely manner. If they meet the criteria, people can contact the organization office for consultation or fill out an online application to participate in the program.
