According to The Sun: Millions of grandparents can receive free services and discounts totaling over £7,700 this September, but many of them unfortunately do not know about this entitlement.
Among the benefits are free passports, discounts on movie tickets, as well as additional support from healthcare providers.

National Insurance deferment - £1,851
When a pensioner reaches the age of receiving the state pension, they no longer pay National Insurance contributions.

With an average salary of £687 per week, the annual saving would be approximately £1,851.
Travel discounts - £1,084
People over the age of 60 can receive significant discounts on travel.
In England, Scotland, and Wales, pensioners are entitled to free bus tickets.
In London, Oyster cards are also available for people over 60 or the Older Person’s Freedom Pass, which covers all TfL services.
An annual bus pass in the capital costs nearly £988, while a Senior Railcard allows for savings of approximately £96 on trains per year.
In total, savings would amount to £1,084.
Free eye examination - £25
Everyone over the age of 60 is entitled to a free eye examination through the NHS every two years. You just need to book an appointment and mention that you have this benefit.
With the average cost of a test being £25, this puts extra money in your pocket and keeps your eye health in check.
Free television license - £174.50
To watch BBC channels, iPlayer and other live shows, a television license is required.
However, pensioners over 75 who receive Pension Credit may not need to pay for the license, saving £174.50 a year.

Pension Credit recipients can also benefit from special rates for broadband internet.
Some packages cost only £14.99 a month, while the average price in the UK is £26.90, yielding annual savings of £142.92.
Water discounts - £400
Pensioners with low income who have Pension Credit may receive social tariffs for water.
These tariffs typically cap bills at around £200 a year.
As the average water bill exceeds £600, this allows for savings of around £400.

Pensioners can receive discounts on entry tickets to cinemas, theaters, and tourist attractions.
Odeon, Vue, Empire, and Showcase offer special screenings for seniors, with tickets costing just £3.50 and free drinks.
National Trust members over 60 years old, who have held membership for three years, can also receive a 25% discount, lowering the price from £96 to £72 a year, which represents a saving of £24.
All these benefits and discounts amount to over £7,700 a year, representing a huge potential for savings that many grandparents may not receive.
