According to UATV: A total of 168 combat engagements were recorded on March 24. On that day, Russian forces paused their offensive operations near Kramatorsk and Orikhiv. Despite this, the enemy carried out 85 shelling attacks over the 24-hour period, signaling that active hostilities continued elsewhere.

In the northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, 13 skirmishes took place. On the southern Slobozhanskyi axis, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions five times. The aggressor launched six assaults near Kupiansk and five more in the Lyman area. Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attempts by occupying forces to advance in the Sloviansk sector.

  • 17 attacks in the Kostiantynivka direction
  • 34 assault actions by the aggressor near Pokrovsk
  • 10 attacks in the Oleksandrivka area
  • 18 assaults around Huliaipole
  • One enemy attack in the Dnipro River region

Notably, no active offensive moves by the enemy were observed in the Orikhiv sector on March 23. The frontline remains highly volatile, with both sides engaged in frequent combat and artillery exchanges.

Impact of Hostilities

The consequences of the March 24 fighting highlight the ongoing nature of the conflict, even as Russian troops temporarily halted their advance in certain areas. This underscores the complexity of the situation on the ground, where Ukrainian forces continue to fend off enemy assaults while Russian troops maintain a high tempo of shelling.

The sustained level of combat engagements suggests that both sides are preparing for further actions in the near future.
