The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on Military Registration Remotely

On January 9, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted an important bill that allows Ukrainian boys aged 16-17 who are abroad to register for military service remotely. This is reported by espreso.tv.

According to the document, Ukrainian male citizens who turn 17 years old will be able to be included in the list of conscripts remotely from January 1 to July 31, 2025. This will be done by entering the necessary data into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Servicemen, and Reservists using electronic identification.

'We have provided the opportunity to register for military service remotely using electronic communications. That is, a Ukrainian citizen residing abroad who turns 17 years old will be able to register accordingly through Reserve+, through Diia, and register for military service at the TCCC and SP according to his place of registration. He must comply with the requirements of the law and will not face any negative consequences,' emphasized Fedir Venislavsky.

After August 31, it will only be possible to register for military service in person by arriving at the TCCC and SP in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Rada adopted a law on military registration and basic training and explained what awaits women.
