Unpaid Traffic Fines for Violations of Traffic Rules in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian drivers still have not settled their fines for violating traffic rules. According to Open Data Bot, there are currently over 2 million unpaid fines, which is 6% more compared to last year. The total amount of unpaid fines has increased by 43% since the beginning of the year.
Most cases of traffic violations have already been resolved; however, debtors continue to ignore their obligations. The largest portion of debt belongs to drivers aged 25 to 45, who account for 64% of the total debt amount. Dnipropetrovsk region shows the highest number of violations, with the most active violators identified in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, and Sumy regions.
These figures indicate that the problem of unpaid fines remains relevant and requires attention from the authorities. Whether this financial burden for Ukrainian drivers will be resolved in the near future remains to be seen. It is important for every driver to be aware of their responsibility for violating traffic rules, as it concerns the safety of all road users.
