Ukraine introduces electricity consumption restrictions on October 29: where and when there will be electricity.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced due to attacks on the energy infrastructure. As reported by 'Ukrenergo', starting from October 29, there will be restrictions on electricity consumption in certain regions of the country due to outages caused by large-scale missile and drone strikes from Russia.
Power outage schedule
The power supply will be available from 08:00 to 22:00, while power restrictions for industry will be imposed from 07:00 to 22:00. The situation may change at any moment, so 'Ukrenergo' recommends keeping track of current news on the websites of local energy suppliers.
We remind you that the restriction regime is similar to the one implemented in Ukraine in previous years due to threats from Russia. Energy workers urge citizens to be economical with electricity and adhere to the established consumption schedules.
Reasons for the measures
These measures have become necessary amid the escalation of the conflict in the eastern part of the country and the continued hostile actions of Russia against Ukrainian energy facilities.
The restrictions on electricity consumption emphasize the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine's energy sector. In the context of armed conflict, energy independence and security of the country remain a priority, and communities need to be prepared for possible additional measures to conserve resources.
