According to UATV: On May 27, 2023, a total of 296 combat engagements occurred along the front line. Ukrainian defenders successfully halted more than 50 enemy assault attempts, with the highest concentration of attacks recorded near Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka.

According to operational reports, the Pokrovsk sector saw 53 enemy offensive actions, alongside over 50 assault operations. In the Southern Slobozhanske direction, 13 attacks were noted; the Kostiantynivka axis experienced 26; and Huliaipole faced 35. Additionally, Russian forces launched nine assaults in the Lyman area and one offensive move near Kramatorsk.

Enemy Activity

On other sectors, the adversary also attempted to advance. Specifically, the following incursions were registered:

  • five attempts in the Kupiansk direction;
  • three near Orikhiv.

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian positions came under 87 artillery and mortar strikes, underscoring the high operational tempo of the opposing forces in the region.

Ukrainian troops also repelled two aerial attacks in the Northern Slobozhanske and Kursk directions. In the Sloviansk sector, eight assaults were thwarted, while the Dnipro area saw two enemy offensives.

Overall, the frontline remains tense with intense combat activity. Ukrainian military personnel continue to mount a robust defense, blocking enemy efforts to gain ground across multiple axes.
