This designation, which signifies their critical contribution to the country's economy, is granted based on criteria established by the Ministry of Development's Order No. 50, dated January 16, 2025. For the carriers involved, this status can lead to significant operational and financial benefits.
As of January 5, 2026, a total of 758 business entities across all sectors now hold this nationally important status, underscoring the growing recognition of road transport's role in ensuring economic stability and development. A key meeting to discuss further support measures for these designated companies is scheduled for February 12, 2026.
