According to inkorr.com: The governmental bodies of Ukraine have informed families about the possibility of receiving financial support for preparing children for school. As part of the 'School Package' program, the Pension Fund transfers funds to 'Diya' cards.

The Ministry of Social Policy has initiated a large-scale program for families with school-aged children, allowing each family with a first-grader to receive 5000 hryvnias for school supplies.

One of the parents of a first-grader, legal representatives, and workers of institutions for orphans and children deprived of parental care are entitled to receive assistance.

Participation statistics: According to the Ministry of Social Policy, over 98 thousand families have already applied for assistance, which accounts for about 54% of the total number of first-graders in educational institutions.

Application process for assistance

Application deadlines: the program is valid until November 15, 2025.

Program operation mechanism: The Pension Fund receives updated information about first-graders weekly from the Ministry of Education and Science, confirming the official enrollment of the child in the first grade.

Application methods:

  • Online through the 'Diya' app: you need to go to the 'State Assistance' section and fill in all the necessary fields.
  • Offline: contact the Pension Fund service center.
