Crisis in Housing and Utilities: 93% of utility bills issued with violations.
According to inkorr.com: The State Consumer Service reports that 93% of utility companies in Ukraine issue bills with non-compliance to tariffs, indicating serious problems in the housing and utilities sector. Expert Oleg Popenko emphasizes that preparations for the heating season are also concerning, as over 40% of energy facilities have malfunctions.
Problems with Winter Preparations
Popenko notes that the country is not ready for winter, which may lead to critical situations in the housing and utilities sector. This, in turn, can have negative consequences for Ukrainians who use utility services.
In the current situation, it is important for responsible agencies to quickly take measures to improve preparations for the winter period. Given the high percentage of malfunctions in the energy sector, Ukrainians need adequate solutions to ensure comfortable living during the cold period.
