How to get an electronic driver's license now: instructions from the MIA service center.
Over 15 thousand electronic driver's licenses have been issued by MIA service centers since the beginning of 2024
The main MIA service center reports that since the beginning of 2024, more than 15 thousand electronic driver's licenses have been issued by MIA service centers. This includes both newly issued driver's licenses and documents received after exchange, restored after loss and theft, as well as after opening higher and lower categories.
How to get an electronic driver's license
Citizens have the opportunity to obtain an electronic driver's license without a physical form. This can be done in three ways:
- Offline at any MIA service center
- Online through the Driver's Cabinet
- Online via the Diia application
Important details
Electronic driver's licenses automatically appear in the Driver's Cabinet and the Diia application after they are issued on a form. However, driver's licenses issued before 2013 do not appear in these electronic services. To make them appear, it is necessary to exchange them by contacting any MIA service center.
Electronic documents have their own series and numbers and are displayed in electronic registers.
It is important to note that the procedure for making a duplicate electronic driver's license on a form is not provided. If necessary, you need to exchange the e-license for a plastic form, which will be displayed in the Driver's Cabinet and in Diia.
For consultation on the services of the MIA service centers, citizens can contact the phone number (044) 290-19-88 or the official pages of the Main MIA Service Center on social networks Facebook and Instagram.
