Consumers Regret Purchases on Black Friday
About 40% of consumers admit to regretting their purchases made during Black Friday after impulsive spending. A survey of 2000 adults who previously bought items on Black Friday revealed that 44% of people succumb to shopping euphoria.According to The Sun: The most common purchases that consumers later regret include:
- clothing;
- kitchen gadgets;
- skincare sets.
“We observe that many of our respondents often feel disappointed after a purchase made under the influence of the moment,” says one of the study organizers.
These results indicate that impulsive buying during sales can lead to doubts and disappointments. Consumers should be cautious and carefully consider their purchases to avoid regret after holiday discounts.
