Aryna Sabalenka defeats Anisimova in the US Open final: the American is in tears again.
Tragic final for Amanda Anisimova
According to The Sun: Amanda Anisimova faced another disappointment in the final, losing to Aryna Sabalenka at the US Open tournament.
The American tennis player barely held back tears at Wimbledon Center when she lost 0-6 0-6 to Iga Swiatek, making a number of unforced errors.
ESPNThis time, on September 30 in New York, during the storm that forced the roof of Arthur Ashe to close, she was unable to achieve success on the big stage again.
Sabalenka, becoming the first woman in nine years to successfully defend her title, won 6-3 7-6 and received a record prize of 3.7 million pounds ($5 million).
The final match for Anisimova
This title became the fourth for the Belarusian on hard courts, further confirming her status as the world number one.
Anisimova, a 24-year-old tennis player, failed to convert three break points at the start of the match, and later lost her first serve. The spectators began to watch her game with concern.
Although she avoided the humiliation of her previous final, the number of double faults increased to seven. Sabalenka, 27, won four games in a row at 2-3, taking the first set in 38 minutes.
In the harsh world of tennis, where dreams do not always come true, Anisimova tried to put up a fight in the second set, but again had no success.

“This is incredible. I love this place, I love the support. Throughout the year, we have built a relationship where you give me huge support. I hope you will continue to support me next year.”
Anisimova, with tears in her eyes, said:
“It was a great summer. Losing two finals in a row is tough, but it is very hard. I didn't fight hard enough for my dreams today.”
