Ukrainian athlete Nastasiia Moskalenko won a gold medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, setting a new world record in shot put in the F32 class. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
According to the minister, «the Ukrainian won the gold medal in shot put with a new world record - 8 meters. This is the 52nd prize for Ukraine at these Paralympic Games».
This is already the second gold for Moskalenko, as she became the champion in this discipline at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Her victory in Paris became the 52nd medal for Ukraine at these games.
It is also worth mentioning that the Ukrainian team won a gold medal in the swimming relay at the Paralympics.
