How Andriy Isaenko Earns a Living During the War

According to Glamurchik — Шоу-біз: Ukrainian actor Andriy Isaenko recently opened up about his income sources amid the ongoing conflict. In an interview, he explained that his primary revenue comes from film and television work, alongside teaching acting. For context, many artists in Ukraine have had to rethink their careers since the war began, often juggling multiple roles to stay afloat.

Isaenko disclosed that a single day on set brings in roughly $500.

“The main money comes from cinema. You take on a project, finish filming, and that covers your summer,”

he said. Beyond that, his monthly salary at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUKiM) amounts to 16,500 hryvnias. He also receives a fixed monthly rate for theater performances, adding another stream of income.

The actor highlighted the role of teaching in his financial plan, stating:

“I started teaching—that’s also a source of income.”

By balancing on-screen work with education, Isaenko manages to maintain a steady livelihood during these challenging times.
