Announcement of the Olympics for August 5. Can Ukraine build on its medal success?.

On the tenth day of the 2024 Olympic Games, 9 Ukrainian athletes will compete in 6 sports: athletics, shooting, canoe slalom, artistic gymnastics, wrestling, and diving. 

The first Ukrainian to start fighting for Olympic medals today will be Pavlo Korostylov. The Ukrainian shooter passed the qualification in the 25-meter rapid-fire pistol and has a chance to reach the podium. To achieve this, he must defeat Chinese shooters, Florian Peter, Massimo Spinelli, and Yongjae Cho. 

In artistic gymnastics, Illia Kovtun and Oleg Verniaiev are hoping for a medal. They have difficult routines on parallel bars and can fight for the top three. The main competitors are Chinyuan Zou, Lukas Dauser, and Ferhat Arican. 

Victoria Us continues her fight in canoe slalom, and Sofia Lyskun represents Ukraine in diving. Shooting and athletics are also included in the program.
