The Israeli Defense Forces report that on September 28, they eliminated the head of Hezbollah's counterintelligence service, Nabil Kawak. He was also known for frequently appearing in the media, representing the group's position on political, strategic, and military issues," he wrote.
According to the IDF, Kawak was the commander of Hezbollah's "preventive security unit" and a senior member of the terrorist group's central council.
The military notes that Kawak was close to Hezbollah's leadership and directly involved in preparing terrorist attacks against Israel and its citizens.
Last night, fighters struck and killed Kawak in the Dahiya suburb of Beirut, a stronghold of Hezbollah.
According to the IDF, Israeli fighters struck dozens of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon overnight.
Recently, the Israeli Defense Forces also delivered a precise strike on Hezbollah's central headquarters in the heart of Beirut.
It is worth noting that this strike occurred during the activities of Hezbollah's senior command at the headquarters, where they were engaged in terrorist activities against Israel's citizens. Later, it was reported that Hezbollah's long-time leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed as a result of this strike.
