The Russian army is storming the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to capture a bridgehead on the right bank of the Kherson region.

The commander of the Kherson joint army, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that Russian troops continue to attack the bridgehead on the right bank of the Kherson region, but the defense forces are successfully destroying the enemy.

He noted that the enemy intends to capture more of the Kherson region and reach Mykolaiv. Attacks occur daily, although there are not many of them. Russian military personnel face a large number of refusals, understanding that they are heading to their death, but this does not stop the attacks. Ukrainian military personnel remain on the left bank, Prokudin reported.
