Yarosh spoke about how he prepared to topple Lukashenko.
Commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army Dmytro Yarosh stated that in 1999 he, along with Belarusian comrades, prepared to eliminate the internal-occupation regime of Belarus. He wrote about this on his Facebook.
«We traveled through the territory of a friendly nation, created expeditionary units together, trained and armed them, conducted combat coordination… The plan was realistic, but our Belarusian benefactors were stopped in 1999 by Yeltsin, saying «I am tired, I am leaving», and the arrival of Putin on the princely throne… Had everything worked out, the history of Eastern Europe would have been categorically different…»
Yarosh believes that in the near future Belarus will become an independent country and will enter into a union with Ukraine, Poland, the Baltic states, and other countries.
«The Time will come. This is our geopolitical future! Long live Belarus! Glory to Ukraine!»
Let us remind you that on January 26, presidential elections will be held in Belarus, in which Alexander Lukashenko is running for the eighth time.
It is also worth noting that Lukashenko has stated about the possible shutdown of the internet in case of protests during the presidential elections in 2025. And the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belarus, Boris Gryzlov, has stated that Russia will provide assistance to Belarus in case of protests after the elections, which Lukashenko and the leaders of the security forces have already been warned about.
