Mikel Arteta can change Arsenal's formation: fans have made a sharp demand.
According to The Sun: Arsenal fans have called on head coach Mikel Arteta to introduce new tactical changes after Mikel Merino's impressive performance, who scored a hat-trick for the Spain national team.
The 29-year-old midfielder played alongside teammate Martin Zubimendi in a resounding 6-0 victory against Turkey in the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.

Barcelona star Pedri opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute, after which Merino scored his first goal, shifting for a shot due to the successful combinations of the Spanish national team.
Before the break, Merino doubled the score with another goal scored with his right foot.
Ferrán Torres also joined in, scoring at the beginning of the second half.
But the highlight was Merino's third goal - an impressive long-range shot from 20 yards that capped off the score at 5-0.
A little later, Pedri scored his second goal, completing the rout of the opponent.
After such a performance from Merino, Arsenal fans actively urged Arteta to consider changing the team's tactical scheme.
Proposal to Change Tactics
Arteta usually prefers a 4-3-3 formation, but considering Merino's talents, fans expressed a desire to switch to a 4-4-2. In this formation, the midfielder could play alongside newcomer Viktor Gyökeres.
Merino could take the position of the lone striker, as Gyökeres might miss important matches due to being called to a Swedish court.
One fan noted: “4-4-2 would suit Merino and Gyökeres perfectly, like twins.”

Another fan added: “It's time to think about 4-4-2 for Arteta, with Merino up front alongside Gyökeres.”
Merino’s performance attracted attention not only from Arsenal fans but also from football analysts, who are discussing the possibility of adapting the team's tactics to new players. It is clear that such changes could impact Arsenal's play in upcoming matches, as a new approach could add fresh colors to the team.
