Young Arsenal talent signs professional contract
According to The Sun: Archi Stevens, a star of 'Arsenal', has signed his first professional contract with the club after a successful preseason period.
The 19-year-old Stevens joined the 'Gunners' from 'Rangers' in the summer and impressed coaches during a trial with the U-21 team, showing excellent performance in matches against 'Chelmsford City' and 'Monaco II'.

The official site of 'Arsenal' reported:
“We are pleased to announce that winger Archi Stevens has signed his first professional contract with us after a successful trial period.'
“The 19-year-old impressed during our preseason U-21 matches against Chelmsford City and Monaco II and will join Max Porter's team for the 2025/26 season.”
The club is confident that they have gained a very promising talent for the coming years.
Academy manager Per Mertesacker expressed satisfaction with Stevens' performances on and off the pitch.
“Since Archi joined us, he has impressed us both as a person and as a player.'
“He has blended wonderfully into our team and has shown high performances in matches and training. Archi certainly deserves this new stage in his career with a professional contract.'
“We welcome Archi to our academy and look forward to continuing his development.”
Stevens moved to Scotland to play for 'Rangers' in 2022 and, after three years in youth teams, was loaned to 'Dunfermline' last winter.

“I went on loan to 'Dunfermline' at the end of the season and learned a lot there.'
“At first, we were fighting for survival, and it gave me a lot of experience, and we managed to stay up.'
“My first match [with Arsenal] was against 'Chelmsford' in the preseason, I think I did well.'
“Then we had a game against 'Monaco' in France, it was a great opportunity. I came on in the last 30 minutes, so I wanted to make an impact.'
“I saw the ball come to me in quite a wide area, but I remembered to do something, whether it be a shot or a pass, and I tried to score.”
“I can’t wait to show what I’m capable of. It’s such a big club, so it’s a dream come true to be here, I’m just grateful for this opportunity.”Stevens has become part of a team with ambitions, and his signing may indicate the club's strategic plan regarding the development of young talents.
