The prices for citrus fruits changed during the winter holidays
According to the Mintfin portal, prices for citrus fruits in supermarkets were updated in the second half of December. With the drop in temperature and the approach of the holidays, the demand for fruits such as tangerines and oranges traditionally increases. In November of this year, prices for these citrus fruits already underwent some changes.
The average price for tangerines was 80 hryvnias per kilogram, ranging from 54.90 hryvnias at 'Novus' store to 105.30 hryvnias. In Egypt, the price is 87.50 hryvnias per kilogram. The average price for tangerines from Morocco is 99.90 hryvnias per kilogram, while for clementine tangerines, it is 72.70 hryvnias.
The average price for oranges was 60.57 hryvnias per kilogram. The cheapest oranges can be bought at 'Auchan' for 55.90 hryvnias, while the most expensive ones are at 'MegaMarket' for 65.90 hryvnias. Premium oranges at 'Novus' and 'Auchan' cost 69.99 and 85.90 hryvnias per kilogram, respectively.
