Ukrainian Armed Forces struck missile manufacturing enterprises for air defense in the Russian Federation.
General information about the attack
Specialized units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone systems, together with other branches of the Armed Forces, conducted strikes on aviation enterprises that were of significant importance to the Russian military sector. The plant operated at all stages of aircraft production, which then participated in the wars against Ukraine. Reports of explosions and fire at the plant began to emerge online.
At the same time, a strike was carried out on the Design Bureau for Instrument Engineering named after Academician Shipunov, which specializes in the production of missiles for the Russian army.
During the night, reports of explosions, smoke over the industrial zone, as well as the movement of ambulances and fire engines to the scene became known. The results of the shelling are still being clarified.
The General Staff emphasizes that such strikes are part of the strategy to reduce the missile-bomb potential of the enemy.
We remind that in the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces previously successfully carried out a complex special operation, destroying enemy bunkers along with the occupants.
