Sports journalist Kyrylo Stadnichenko has been expelled from the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine due to his collaboration with Russian structures. Association representatives stated that no collaborator can call themselves a Ukrainian journalist.
The detained collaborator was implicated in attacks on Ukrainian cities and the capture of Kyiv. He is currently in custody and may face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property. In addition, all awards received from the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine have been revoked.

This led to serious consequences for the journalist, including his imprisonment and the annulment of awards.
