Aston Villa complains to the Premier League about the match schedule: what are the claims.
Aston Villa's Complaint
According to The Sun: The football club Aston Villa has expressed its dissatisfaction with the Premier League match schedule, as they are set to visit Arsenal tomorrow. The team, currently in third place in the standings, is surprised since this match day also includes fixtures of the reverse round, even though they still have to play Nottingham Forest this Saturday.
"We do not understand why this situation has arisen," club representatives noted.
This issue also affects other teams, but Aston Villa believes that their situation is particularly unfair.
The question of the match schedule in the Premier League has always sparked discussions. Clubs seek to optimize the preparation of their teams as much as possible, and an inconvenient schedule can negatively impact results. Aston Villa, as one of the league leaders, hopes for understanding from the organizers and adequate response to the situation.
