Russian attacks on Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Orikhiv leave injured and damaged infrastructure.
Assaults on Ukrainian cities
According to UATV: On March 26, Russian forces launched strikes on several Ukrainian cities, including Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Orikhiv. These attacks resulted in casualties, as well as damage to buildings and vehicles. In Kharkiv, a 65-year-old man was injured when a drone crashed down.
In Kryvyi Rih, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, explosions were heard and one infrastructure facility was hit, though no casualties were reported. In Orikhiv, situated in the Zaporizhzhia region, a drone attack wounded two people: a 71-year-old man and a woman. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Orikhiv community,
“a private home was damaged. A 71-year-old man and a woman sustained injuries. They received the necessary medical care.”
Situation in other regions
During the night of March 26, Russian troops also targeted the Odesa region. Additionally, attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities within the Dnipropetrovsk region. These events highlight the ongoing escalation of the conflict and its toll on civilians.
These assaults underscore Russia's continued aggressive actions, which are increasingly endangering the lives of peaceful residents in Ukraine. As the war persists, civilians are becoming more vulnerable, and the country's infrastructure is suffering severe damage. The prolonged and intense nature of the conflict emphasizes the urgent need for international support and a resolution to the humanitarian crisis it has created.
