According to inkorr.com: On November 11, Tuesday, an emergency situation occurred at the state enterprise 'Eastern Mining and Processing Plant'. A hydraulic mixture broke through in the underground production, leading to flooding at the level. This information is reported by 'Glavcom', citing the Ministry of Energy.

Information about the Injured

At the time of the incident, four workers from the private enterprise 'Svitex' were on the emergency section. Two of them managed to escape, but the fate of the others is still unknown. Currently, rescue operations are ongoing with the participation of emergency rescuers and the Inhulskyi Mine 'East MP'. A commission will also be formed to investigate the circumstances of this accident in accordance with labor legislation.

Attacks on Coal Enterprises

It is worth reminding that recently, due to shelling, eight DTEK mines were de-energized. During the attacks, more than 2,500 workers remained underground. Coal enterprises in Donetsk Oblast have become targets for attacks by Russian terrorists, leading to damage to boilers, administrative and storage facilities.

Thus, the accident at the Inhulskyi State Enterprise underscores the serious risks faced by miners in Ukraine. Rescue operations continue, and the commission will begin an investigation to clarify all circumstances of the incident. In a world where coal enterprises are under attack, the safety of workers becomes an extremely important topic.
