Emergency power outages in Ukraine: how much longer will the restrictions last.
According to inkorr.com: Vitaliy Zaychenko, the head of the 'Ukrenergo' company, commented on the duration of emergency power outages in Ukraine. According to him, these measures may last for another seven days, but in some regions, the situation may be more complicated.
Emergency outages in Ukraine
Zaychenko added that during peak electricity consumption hours, emergency outages may affect certain areas. On October 16, Ukraine introduced emergency power outages in several regions due to problems in the energy system.
'Given the current situation, it will be possible to stabilize it in a week,' Zaychenko emphasized.
- Emergency outages have already occurred in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr regions, as well as in some areas of the Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions.
These restrictions are due to the consequences of attacks on the energy infrastructure carried out by Russian military forces. We hope that the situation will normalize soon, and citizens will be able to use electricity without restrictions.
During the period of possible emergency outages, Zaychenko warns about the likelihood of the problem lasting into the next week. Urgent outages have already occurred in certain regions, but the situation is expected to improve soon. It is important to take measures to resolve this situation and ensure the normalization of electricity supply for the population and businesses.
Given the importance of electricity supply for the daily lives of people and the operation of enterprises, all efforts are now directed towards restoring stability in the energy system. Prompt response to problems and restoration of electricity supply remain a priority for energy workers.
