British gin brand comes under new management: reasons for the manufacturer's collapse.
Problems at Spirit of Manchester Distillery
According to The Sun: The award-winning distillery has found itself in difficulty after the sudden closure of its bar earlier this year. The gin brand from the UK faced a 'perfect storm' of rising costs and taxes. The owners of Spirit of Manchester Distillery closed their bar, located under the arches near Manchester Central, back in August.
“We were forced to make this difficult decision.”
Owners Jen and her husband... tried to overcome the challenges facing their business due to rising costs of raw materials and operational expenses.
The closure of the bar was the result of a challenging financial situation caused by rising prices in the market. Spirit of Manchester Distillery, known for its unique gins, plans to find new solutions to prevent similar problems in the future, but for now, their business leaves a truly heavy footprint in the community.
