The player was not included in Tottenham's Champions League squad, which was surprising given his important role last season when the team won the Europa League.
Concerns arose when Bissouma was left out of the Super Cup match against PSG due to disciplinary issues, which Frank confirmed.
In the last year of his contract with Tottenham, Bissouma discussed a possible move to Galatasaray. However, according to SunSport, he decided to stay in North London and try to finalize a deal with the club.
Sources confirm that physical problems have hindered his training, but the midfielder hopes to return soon and re-enter Frank's plans.
This summer, Tottenham signed Joao Palhinha from Bayern, which increased competition for Bissouma, who now has to compete with Rodrigo Bentancur, Archie Gray, and Lukas Bergvall.
Fight for a Place in the Squad
This is not the first time Bissouma has struggled for a position in the team. Last season he also missed some time due to disciplinary issues and was not selected by former manager Ange Postecoglou.
However, he managed to restore the coach's trust and finished the season on a high note, securing a spot in the final and receiving the title of Man of the Match when Tottenham won their first major trophy in many years.
According to sources close to the player, Bissouma does not feel that his time at the club is over, and he remains determined to return to the first team as soon as he is fit.
Tottenham has shown a promising start under Frank, narrowly losing to PSG in the Super Cup, and then winning against Manchester in the second round of the league.

Bissouma will not be able to help his team in the match against West Ham this weekend, but hopes to return to the squad at the beginning of next month.
