Boots opens its first fragrance boutique in London: what will it offer to customers

Launch of the new Boots store

According to The Sun: Beauty enthusiasts can rejoice as the company Boots has announced the opening of a new type of store in the UK, which will take place in just a few weeks.

This news was announced at the winter Boots show in London. According to Retail Week, the first store specializing exclusively in perfumes will open on October 23 at Broadgate Central in London.

Plans for the unique concept were first presented in July

The new store will occupy 2,150 square feet and promises to become a true fragrance paradise for shoppers.

The assortment will include 400 luxury and niche scents, among which there are over 20 brands that have not been sold in Boots before.

Customers will be able to familiarize themselves with well-known labels and discover new boutique-style offerings.

“The Boots Fragrance boutique represents a bold step forward in how we present fragrance to our customers,” said Boots' fragrance director, Chelsea Sanders.
“We are proud to create a space that not only showcases the best in luxury and niche perfumery but also makes it more accessible, inviting, and inspiring for everyone.”

This idea was first voiced in July when Boots representatives noted that the new store will unite British brands created by founders, as well as international niche brands, emphasizing the “art and innovation of modern perfumery.”

The opening is part of a new direction for Boots, which is expanding its health and beauty offering this year.

In the summer, the retailer added nine new home testing kits to its shelves. These tests use DNA or blood samples to check for health issues such as high cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies, food intolerances, and hormonal imbalances without the need to visit a doctor.

The specialized fragrance store will be the first in its series for the chain, and if successful, it could lead to the opening of new boutiques across the UK.

Thus, Boots continues to innovate in its operations, responding to the needs of modern consumers who seek new experiences in the world of beauty and perfumery. Creating such a boutique could be an important step in the brand's development, opening new prospects and attracting a wider audience.
