Closure of beloved ice cream company
According to The Sun: After 127 years of successful operation, the renowned ice cream company has permanently closed its doors. Parravani’s Ice Cream, founded in 1898 in the village of Chadgrave, received confirmation of 'permanent closure' from the administration.
The family business, which later moved to Beccles, Suffolk, was known for generations for its Italian ice creams that were popular throughout East Anglia.
The closure of such an iconic company, which has always been loved by the locals, is a real loss for the community. Recent events, changing consumer preferences, and competition in the food industry have contributed to the decision for closure, which has become inevitable in modern conditions.
