Germany to Deploy American Long-Range Missiles to Deter Putin
Annalena Baerbock, Germany's Foreign Minister, stated that the deployment of American long-range missiles in the country is a 'means of deterrence' for Russian President Vladimir Putin. In an article for Bild am Sonntag, Baerbock also noted that these measures are necessary to protect Germany, as well as Poland, the Baltic countries, and Finland, which constantly suffer from Russian aggression. The deployment of US long-range weapon systems in Germany will be part of a long-term plan that will start taking effect in 2026.
