March Could Set a Record for Russian Losses: What’s Happening Near Pokrovsk.
Current State of the Pokrovsk Front
According to UATV: Fighting remains intense along the Pokrovsk axis, with Ukrainian forces holding key settlements despite relentless Russian assaults. Military analyst Vladyslav Seleznev reports heavy casualties among Russian troops and a shift in their battlefield tactics.
Clashes are ongoing near Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, both still under Ukrainian control. According to Seleznev,
“the enemy continues trying to fully occupy these towns.”He estimates that March 2023 could become the deadliest month yet for Russian personnel losses.
Seleznev noted that drone units have eliminated over 10,000 Russian invaders this March. In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian forces destroyed:
- 970 Russian soldiers,
- significant fire support assets, including 61 artillery systems,
- 2,296 enemy drones.
“The fighting continues, and this sector remains the most heavily covered by the media,”Seleznev emphasized.
The expert added that
“technology keeps advancing, and the use of drones allows us to steadily increase enemy losses.”This highlights how Ukrainian forces are not only holding ground but actively inflicting major damage on the adversary.
Situation on the Pokrovsk Front
Overall, the situation near Pokrovsk remains critical, but Ukrainian troops continue to resist aggression and maintain control over vital territory, despite persistent Russian attempts at occupation.
The developments on the Pokrovsk front are a key part of the broader combat picture in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces’ successful defense not only protects strategic settlements but also demonstrates the country’s ability to adapt to new challenges—particularly through modern technology like drones. This shows that Ukrainian troops are actively strengthening their positions and delivering significant blows to the enemy.
