There was no lack of criticism. Trump became the first US president to attend the Super Bowl.
US President Donald Trump attended the Super Bowl final - the upcoming game in the American National Football League (NFL). He was present at the match between the 'Philadelphia Eagles' and the 'Kansas City Chiefs', where the 'Eagles' won with a score of 40:22. Trump expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the start of the game when the ball is in the air and the players on the field freeze. He noted that this negatively affects the game and inquired why change something that works well.
Ukrainian hockey player Arthur Cholach also made his debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the 'Henderson Silver Knights'. He became the first Ukrainian hockey player since 2016 to play in the second strongest hockey division in North America. Other Ukrainian hockey players have also played in the AHL, totaling 30.
The Russian national hockey team has also recently become a subject of politicized decisions, being excluded from participating in the 2026 World Championship.
