Battle for the White House: Harris Leads with a Minimal Margin.
According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, Vice President Kamala Harris maintains an advantage over former President Donald Trump at the national level. According to the study, 45% of voters support Harris, while 42% support Trump.
In September of this year, poll results showed that Harris also held a 3% lead over Trump — 46% support compared to 43%. Both results fall within the margin of error and provide a general picture of who might win in the November elections, which will be decided in seven swing states.
According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos survey, both candidates have a negative approval rating, and neither has received more than 50% voter approval. 46% of respondents view Harris as a positive figure, while 42% said the same about Trump.
Trump has a slight advantage over Harris on issues of the economy, unemployment, and jobs. 45% of survey participants believe Trump is better prepared to address these issues, while 40% support Harris.
However, the Democratic candidate has a better rating on issues related to combating political extremism and threats to democracy. She has a 5-point advantage — 43% support compared to Trump's 38%. She also leads with a 14-point advantage on healthcare issues.
