The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed over 100 thousand occupiers near Pokrovsk: details of the battle.
Destruction of Russian occupiers in Pokrovsk
According to inkorr.com: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively repelling attacks by Russian troops on the approaches to Myrnohrad and within Pokrovsk. This was reported by Major Andriy Kovalov, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a comment for 'RBK-Ukraine', according to information from 'Hlavkom'.
Kovalov noted that Ukrainian troops are reliably holding their positions in Myrnohrad and successfully destroying the occupiers attempting to approach the city. Despite the difficult logistical situation during combat operations, the command is taking the necessary measures. Information about a possible encirclement or enemy control over supplies is not true.
Preparation and battle for the cities
Recently, military equipment and ammunition were delivered to the units defending the city. A change of personnel and evacuation of the wounded were also carried out. Similar measures have been taken in Pokrovsk to support our troops.
Currently, there is active resistance to attempts by Russian infantry to establish a foothold in Pokrovsk. Fighting continues, and Ukrainian troops continue to destroy enemy positions in the urban area.
The Russian Federation has concentrated over 100 thousand troops near Pokrovsk, considering the city a primary target for the winter operation. Experts note that even if the city is captured, it will not lead to a strategic breakthrough in the war.
The events in Pokrovsk indicate active hostilities and a tense situation in the region. Ukrainian troops are effectively defending and successfully acting against Russian occupiers seeking to capture the city. The results of the battle for this strategically important populated area can significantly influence the further development of the situation in the east of the country.
