Residents of the village of Olhivka in the Kursk region have appealed to Vladimir Putin asking him to end the war that has led to the loss of their homes. This was stated by refugees who are suffering from the military conflict but do not have the means to rent housing. The information was published in Russian media.

In their appeal, the residents of Olhivka asked Putin to end the war that has claimed many innocent lives. They want their children to live in peaceful conditions and not be disturbed by the threat of rockets. The villagers expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation and asked Putin to address the issues they are facing. The quote was reflected in of the media outlet GLAVCOM.

More than 40 people participated in the video address and noted that they had lost everything due to the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village. They also emphasized that they had not received assistance from the authorities for renting housing and are facing employment problems.

The refugees also reported the deaths of some individuals who refused to evacuate or went missing. The situation in the village is very difficult.

It was also reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, participated in combat operations in the Kursk direction and noted that the importance of this area should not be underestimated. According to him, the goal of the Defense Forces in the Kursk direction is to deter and destroy the enemy in their territory.

In addition, Russia has gathered 50,000 soldiers, including North Koreans, in the Kursk region to prepare for offensive actions.

Overall, nearly 21,000 people have died in the Kursk direction over almost three months.
