Timur Mindich fled Ukraine before NABU searches: details of the Midas case.
According to inkorr.com: Co-founder of the 'Kvartal 95' studio and businessman Timur Mindich has become a suspect in a corruption case in the energy sector and left Ukraine. This happened after searches in his apartment, which were carried out as part of the 'Midas' operation related to obtaining illegal benefits from 'Energoatom' partners.
Exit from the country
Mindich left the country in a Mercedes-Benz S 350, which belongs to one of the owners of TimeLux. This occurred just a few hours before the searches in his residence. Representatives of TimeLux are currently refusing to comment on this situation.
Situation with other officials
Officials who are also mentioned in this case have been dismissed from their positions. Border guards confirmed that Mindich's departure took place in accordance with established legislative norms.
As a result of the investigation, Timur Mindich, along with seven other individuals, is suspected of corrupt activities; five of them are currently in custody.
The situation surrounding Timur Mindich draws attention to the problem of corruption in the Ukrainian energy sector, which has been a relevant topic in society for many years.
