Black Friday 2023: how much are shoppers in Ukraine planning to spend.
Consumers prepare for Black Friday
According to The Sun: A survey conducted among 2000 adults showed that 51% of respondents plan to take advantage of discounts this year. Among those who actively plan their purchases, 70% do so to treat themselves. At the same time, 24% of respondents believe they want to buy gifts for themselves more than for others.
“It’s a shopping holiday when many people want to indulge in a little luxury,” say researchers.
On average, consumers plan to spend £240 on their own needs. This figure indicates that Black Friday is becoming increasingly popular among those who seek to please themselves rather than just buying holiday gifts.
Such results reflect a shift in consumer attitudes, where the emphasis on personal purchases begins to outweigh the tradition of giving. With each passing year, Black Friday is becoming not just a time for discounts, but also an opportunity to reward oneself with something special.
