Spanish bodybuilder Eric Markov dies months after receiving pro card.
According to The Sun: The body of bodybuilder Eric Markov was found lifeless just a few months after obtaining his professional card.
Tributes to this star bodybuilder have begun pouring in from around the world.

Markov, hailing from Spain, earned his card to compete in bodybuilding in May, winning the Mr. Olympia Amateur contest in his home country.
“I turned my dream into reality – I got my competition card,”
he wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo with his partner Lucia Barahona, his personal trainer.
He expressed gratitude to Barahona for her patience and 'unconditional love' that she gave him.
“You are my partner for life, my best friend, my quiet strength, my peace amid chaos,”
he said.
However, he assured that this was just the beginning of his career.
“I want more,”
he said.
Even after receiving the card, Markov considered his relationship with Barahona 'the most important victory of all.'
Barahona shared on social media over the weekend, writing:
“I am not demanding in this regard, and I still haven't been able to comprehend this situation, through which he and his family and I are going.”
“In honor of him and his family, I will not share anything. I'm sorry.”
She also expressed the need for 'healing' after his death.
Just weeks before Markov's death, Barahona described him as 'her champion.'

His fellow bodybuilder Fede Gevera spoke in support:
“Rest in peace, my friend. How unfair life is, it always takes the best,”
he wrote on Instagram.
“From what I've learned about you, you showed how kind you were, from the first moment with that composure and calmness that characterized you.”
“May God receive you in His glory.”
The world of bodybuilding has been shaken by a series of fatalities in recent months.
Last month, fitness influencer Hailey Makafi suddenly died at the age of 37.
Former IFBB professional Craig Leeker, who competed in 13 pro tournaments, passed away at 57.
Spanish bodybuilder Lorena Blanco, also 37, died likely due to a heart attack while preparing for the Ms. Olympia contest, which will take place in Las Vegas later this year.
And in July, popular fitness influencer Christina Bittner died just three days after her 41st birthday.
