Ukrainians warned about rising vegetable prices: which products will become more expensive.
Price increase for vegetables in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: In October, Ukrainians will face a noticeable increase in vegetable prices. The cost may rise by 5-6 hryvnias per kilogram. Pavlo Koval, the general director of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, reported that prices for carrots, beets, onions, cabbage, and garlic will increase due to prolonged drought in some regions. The expert advises to stock up on vegetables for winter now, as prices may continue to rise.
Currently, farmers have 'thrown' all their stocks and assortment onto the market. Therefore, consumers have a chance to buy vegetables at a low price.
So, considering the negative impact of drought on yield, Ukrainians should buy the necessary products in advance to avoid larger expenses in the future.
This price increase may prompt city residents to actively purchase vegetables and other products to prepare for winter. For now, stocks are available in retail chains, but the situation may change over time, so it is important not to delay purchases.
