A British gamer watched as his online friend was murdered by a stranger in Finland
According to The Sun: Police reported that an unknown man was playing online with his friend, a 32-year-old woman from Finland, for about ten hours when he heard a window breaking.
I can’t intervene in the horror 1000 miles away, but I sent an email to the city police at 5 AM local time on April 23.
Neighbors in the southeastern town of Puumala told police documents that they heard the woman screaming, according to local media.
Please tell me if you locked the door
Officers found the woman dead in her living room the next day and began an investigation. They determined that the killer drove about 30 miles north to the town of Juva after brutally stabbing her and set a barn on fire.
After ten minutes, he saw a horrific sight: the killer emerged from the burning barn with his arms wide open.
He was then hospitalized, but the man died from his injuries.
The investigation revealed that the man arrived from his home in the town of Imatra to Puumala a day before the murder, arriving around 5 PM.
He entered his victim’s house before killing her
Police believe he chose her home because it was accessible and the only one with its lights on at the time of the murder.
The case will be closed as the only suspect is deceased.
