According to TSN.ua: Dave Billings, a 44-year-old from Derbyshire, is constructing a Cold War-era bunker in his backyard using the tail section of a Boeing 737, which he purchased for £4,000. Billings has already established an underground storage area accessible via an old World War II-era well. His plans include excavating a tunnel over 10.6 meters long, which will connect to the new shelter. The aircraft fuselage is to be buried approximately 4.2 meters underground. This particular plane, formerly operated by BMI Baby, made its final flight to Venice in September 2012.

The total cost of the project is estimated at around £25,000. Billings claims the bunker will be capable of withstanding radioactive fallout from a nuclear blast within a 16-kilometer radius. He has also expressed a desire for the aircraft's toilet to remain fully functional, highlighting his meticulous attention to detail in creating this distinctive shelter.
